Wu-Tang Clan documentary slated for Sundance premiere

Staten Island’s finest are headed to Park City, Utah. Sort of anyway…

This weekend at Sundance Film Festival, portions of a made-for-TV docuseries featuring interviews with all living members of the group called Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men will make its premiere.

Showtime has purchased the entire docuseries and will air it in full during the Spring of 2019.

The series is directed by Sacha Jenkins, who first put the group on the cover of the publication Beat Down in the early 90s, according to The Source.

The docuseries crystalizes the group’s history through vintage video footage and places their legend within modern day context to show how influential they were and still are in all genres and aspects of the music industry.

We’ll have more on this project soon. Maybe we’ll even do a Facebook Live panel when it’s available, but the only way to know when that’s happening is to sign up for an Official Music Bible account today.
